Carol Sherriff

Carol is co-hosting the Summit. She is a founder Director of Wilson Sherriff which offers facilitation, research and consultation and learning and development services. As well as working with companies and public bodies across Europe, Carol has trained facilitators, coaches and managers in Europe, North America, New Zealand and Asia. With Simon Wilson she co-hosts both the Riders on the Storm series and inBiz4Good, a small business network. She delivers virtual learning sets and master classes on a range of business and professional topics.

Carol is a trainer of Neuro-Linguistic Programming and of Hypnosis. She is a part time academic and author of ‘Metaphors at Work’ in Creating a Culture of Collaboration, and ‘The Hero’s Journey’ in Working with Difficult Groups, both edited by Sandor Schuman. With Simon Wilson she wrote the ebook That's the question!

Vinay KumarVinay Kumar

Vinay, after spending a short time in International banking and education services, moved to the consulting, training and development sector. Over the past decade Vinay has worked in the US, the Middle East and Asia. Vinay is widely respected as a facilitator, coach, Leadership development specialist, cross-cultural consultant and a management trainer.  He has worked with various organizations in creating efficiencies across global teams through coaching, training and development, consulting, and facilitation efforts.

He has delivered programs in over 20 countries across Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East, North and Central America.

One of the areas he specializes is on developing sustainable leadership skills as well as facilitating strategy and teams, and cross cultural competencies for enhancing and improving the effectiveness of global organizations.  Vinay spent a large part of his childhood as well some of his professional work years in the Middle East (based in Dubai) and Europe.

Simon is co-hosting the Summit. He is a founder Director of Wilson Sherriff which offers facilitation, research and consultation and learning and development services. As well as working with companies and public bodies across Europe, Simon has trained facilitators, coaches and managers in Europe, North America, New Zealand and Asia. With Carol Sherriff he hosts two virtual networks. He is an Associate Lecturer in leadership at a UK Business School.

Simon is a member of the Board of the International Association of Facilitators and with Carol Sherriff has most recently publisehd the ebook That's the question!  How managers and facilitators can ask the right question at the right time.

Sonia MayorSonia Mayor

Sonia is an experienced trainer and facilitator with twenty years’ experience in public sector policy and implementation, working at local and national level in the UK. She has in-depth knowledge and experience of working with service users, local authorities, sector skills bodies, housing providers, Police, the health service, government departments and wider agencies.  She has a track record of facilitating service user involvement in the design and delivery of services and has succeeded in engaging with diverse community groups.  An experienced practitioner in mentoring, group facilitation, and restorative supervision, she places great value on the importance of equality, openness, acceptance and self direction in the work she does with practitioners and service users.   She has extensive experience of leading training sessions for a variety of professionals including health visitors, practice teachers and social workers.

Mark McKergow

Mark McKergowDr Mark McKergow is an international speaker, consultant and teacher. A “recovering physicist,” his work over more than two decades has focused on responsive and emergent approaches to complex situations. Mark has developed and hosted many aspects of the international Solutions Focus (SF) community since 2000, and is co-author of three related books including bestseller The Solutions Focus. He has been closely involved with founding both the SOLWorld network and the SFCT professional body for SF consultants and trainers. He edits the SFCT peer-reviewed journal InterAction and is a member of the Transformational Leadership Council. Mark is also a visiting research fellow in philosophy of psychology at the University of Hertfordshire, where he is investigating embodied and narrative paradigms of psychology and change.  He lives in London. His latest book Host: Six new roles of engagement for teams, organsiations, communities and movements is published in October 2014.

Mark will be talking about 'Leading (and coaching) as a host: A new yet ancient look at leadership'.
